Learn the secrets! Tell your friends! Become a tour guide at the Mitchell Prehistoric Indian Village. Lead tours at this 1,000 AD prehistoric village site and share rich history with visitors from around the globe.

Whether you are 14 or 100, outgoing or quiet, a great teacher, an inquisitive learner, or just an all-around cool person, we welcome your talents and skills.

Additional volunteer positions include:

Museum assistants who welcome and assist visitors, answer questions and maintain museum.
Gift Shop assistants who assist with stocking, pricing, and visual merchandising.
Outside grounds maintenance who assist with window cleaning, weed and pest control and gardening
Special event volunteers who help with special programs on an on-call basis
