Visitors to the Mitchell site will have an opportunity to view an active excavation in air-conditioned comfort, learn about the techniques of archeological recovery and preservation, and gain an understanding of the prehistoric farming/hunting culture that existed at this site 1,000 years ago. June 28th - July 28th.
