WHAT VISITORS ARE SAYING ABOUT US!

Peter: We stopped here after seeing a road sign by chance. It's a small museum focused on the excavation of a 1,000 year old village. It has an excellent recreation of the dwelling structures and an assortment of artifacts that have been found at the site. An unusual feature of this museum is that your can visit the active archaeological dig that is ongoing at the site. The museum is reasonably priced and well worth a visit.

Colee: Wonderful museum and archeological dig site. Fascinating history, amazing that so much was hidden just below the surface!

Jenny: Super glad we found this place along our trip! Our kids (5&8) thought it was great and enjoyed the learning experience. Our tour guide was extremely nice and informative!

DMP: This is an interesting archeological site of pre-Sioux indigenous peoples with a well done museum for a small place. Stop in a give these folks a few dollars to help them out. Safe, infection protocol followed.

Seanan: Incredible experience. I really enjoyed seeing all the history. There are so many bones and artifacts. It's fun to imagine the area in that time period.

Michael: Neat place to stop! The kids really got into it. The guy working was very knowledgeable and gave us an awesome tour.

Przemyslaw: Buffalo bones were amazing and real Indian house astonished us. Staff was super friendly.

Deen: Such an interesting place to visit. I had no idea that there is an active archaeological dig site here. Better yet. .....they built a dome over the site to protect it from the elements and to allow visitors to enjoy it.
