April Newcomer Event at the Mitchell Indigenous Archaeological Site & Museum

We were honored to host this year’s April Newcomer Event in partnership with the Mitchell Chamber & Development Corporation, welcoming new residents to the Mitchell Indigenous Archaeological Site & Museum.

Guests spent time in the Archaeodome, where excavations continue each season, and moved through the museum to get a sense of the region’s deeper history. It was a relaxed evening with good conversation, thoughtful questions, and a chance for people to connect with one another while getting to know the long human history of Mitchell.
