    Join our Director and Assistant Director at the Mitchell Public Library for a hands-on, informational lesson about indigenous art and some of the fascinating artifacts found at the Mitchell Site!

    The event will be offered at two times- 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM.

    Join us for a talk given by historian Brad Tennant as he discusses the history and culture of the Arikara (Sahnish), their role in intertribal trade, the impact of disease, their encounter with Lewis and Clark, and their conflicts with the U.S. government from 1807 to the 1820s.
